Whether you are new to ACF or a long-time attendee, you might find yourself asking the same question, “How do I get engaged?” We have identified 5 areas that will support you in becoming a disciple of Jesus through partnering with ACF Church.
Engaging in Community
means that we prioritize being present in the lives of people in Eagle River. One way we do this is to get involved in Life Groups, one of the best ways to connect with others on a deep, personal level. We are a church that values what happens outside the church building, believing it’s the most important part of our lives. We strive to be people who live life open, fully engaged with the messiness of normal life, and full of love for God and people.
Engaging in Service
is a way for you to take ownership and become part of what God is doing here at ACF. We believe service is one of the most important things you can do, because ministry cannot happen without you. Many people come through our doors, and because of the willingness of people to serve, we are able to meet the needs of those people right where they are. As the Body of Christ, we all need to be active participants and engaged in serving the church and each other.
Engaging in Generosity
is a way of life. At ACF we want to be a people marked by true generosity in all areas of our lives. We believe that includes our time, talents and treasures. While being engaged at ACF, we would ask you to commit to the vision and mission of ACF by giving to the local church, giving to One Touch and supporting overseas missions through the Great Commission Fund. If giving is something you have struggled with, we would invite you to take our 12-week Giving Challenge: For 12 weeks, we challenge you to give 10% of your income to support ministry at ACF. We commit to you that if you give for 12 weeks straight and God doesn't hold true to His promises of blessings, we will refund 100% of what you gave. No questions asked. Consider it a kind of money-back guarantee.
Engaging in Partnership
at ACF is crucial to a healthy church. Partnership is much like a roster for a team. It tells us who is committed, who is is engaged, and who can be counted on. At ACF we never ask our partners to do more than the Bible clearly teaches. We only expect our partners to do what the Bible expects every Christian to do. These responsibilities are spelled out in our partnership agreement.
Engaging in Growth
means welcoming people into the ACF community. Weekly, people are finding hope and purpose in Jesus at our services. We believe that Sunday morning church is one of the best places for people to explore their faith. Text, call or email your friends and invite them to come to church with you.
